The WNBA is considering hosting every 2020 game in Las Vegas

Interested in the WNBA? The 2020 season isn’t over. Postponed in April because of COVID-19, executives are toying with the idea of holding all of this year’s games in one location. Las Vegas is one of the top contenders.

Details are murky. Sources haven’t revealed when exactly the season will start, nor what a move to Vegas would entail. The league would work with MGM Resorts, current owner of the Las Vegas Aces. However, don’t expect to see a lot of games at Mandalay Bay, the Aces’ home turf. The team already has a huge homecourt advantage. Officials don’t want to make it worse.

League Commissioner Cathy Engelbert has indicated that a decision will be made by the end of next month.
